He approaches the counter, which is really big and spacious so I follow him and set my cup down and wait for my turn but instead she rings up the guy behind me. Then she rings up the guy behind him. Then she rings up the guy behind that guy. Then she rings up the guy behind THAT guy. Would never even acknowledge me. I say fine, I'm humiliated, whatever, you drink it and walk out. But she doesn't stop there. She yells at me! I get this very sarcastic "You forgot your coffee sir!" At that point all I can think to say is "screw you" and l'm out the door. Mind you, I get ignored a lot so l'm used to it. I'm not an impressive guy. Kind of mousey. I get it. I'm not the guy the salesperson wants to work on unless I'm the only guy in the store, but that experience was so whacked it just left me dumbfounded. I had to look at my reflection in the dirty glass doors to make sure I didn't look homeless or something. Then it hit me. Pretty sure I was part of some game the employees play, pick a random guy and do something to see how he reacts. Wind him up, watch him spin kind of thing. Whatever. Can't say l'll miss the watered down coffee anyway. 1לו
