Ok I just saw Blue Screen (of death)'s profile and he change his Background theme (including KYM logo and tab logo), also he isn't Mod or Admin. I don't know he do that.

i think you can throw some html into the 'about me' section to do this. i've only tested text alignment but it works

Yeah, it's some html you can put in the About Me section.

I think it look stupid, but some users like it.

It's similar to MySpace from what I can understand (and can remember). I know BSoD knows how to do it, and I've heard that a user named X-singular can do it as well.

I can't be bothered to go and try it, but is there a site where users can just go and pick a predefined theme? A lot of people ask, and Blue Screen/X-singular/others might get annoyed if people keep asking them to do it.
 
And yes, I find that most doctored profiles remind me of MySpace, but to each, their own.

I asked James about it once. Although most mods aren't a fan of them, they're allowed, but we can jump in if it gets crazy and ask users to remove it.

Can you tell me how can I make this html like background and buttons that can trigger information.

I lowered the fryers and then just changed the theme altogether.

Of course you can do that. Any old fool could. Don't even need HTML skillz.

Just figure it out yourself; it's not that hard at all (hint: Ctrl+U).

It is possible to warp the html of your profile page so you can do cool stuff like that. Any user has that ability, as long as they know what to put in.

For now, I just have the text changed. OCR A Extended.

i support this idea on theme change.

But, how about allow this feature after you reach a certain rank?

Have you read through the whole thread? Themes aren't regulated by the site. Users create them and apply them to their own profiles.

i did…..however not everyone can handle html that well, accidents can happen.

The point is, since it's not official there is no need to moderate it like that.

Those profiles make you look unique in a different sort of way.
I don't like most of them because some have gifs as their background and lags my computer.

Mine too. I personally don't care very much for them, but I'd want something subtle if I had something like that.

I don't really get what this thread is about. If people are asking to have their personal profiles modded, I don't know that there's anyone who has time to do that.

If you're asking for an explanation on how to do it yourself, then good; this can be an opportunity to learn. It's not technically .html, but rather .css that does the trick. There are many free tutorials on how to use .css on the web, so go find one.

I know a lot of people get nervous about messing with code, but you have just about zero chance of breaking anything. If something doesn't work, just take the code back out and you're back to normal.
