Captain Curious is an older man who lurks in the background of pictures (especially in photos of teenage boys)
Origin
The man portraying Captain Curious was spotted in a real life situation in the summer of 2008 while he was lurking behind a few kids. The photo was manipulated to display him as a captain (using the uniform and boat from Captain Crunch™ cereal).
Evolution
Captain Curious began photobombing photos from current events in late 2009.
