"Having a Wonderful Time" is a series of YTMNDs and Youtube videos with Tiny Tim's cover of the song, Livin' in the Sunlight, Lovin' in the Moonlight." They depict people/things that are "having a wonderful time" or "not having a wonderful time."

The Song

The song, "Livin' in the Sunlight, Lovin' in the Moonlight" was created for the film, The Big Pond, in 1930 by Al Sherman and Al Lewis. In 1968, novelty act Tiny Tim (well known for his distinctive high falsetto/vibratto voice and his Ukelele) released a cover version of the song on his God Bless Tiny Tim album.

The section that is most often used starts at 00:34.

The song gained a resurgence of popularity through the pilot episode of Spongebob, Help Wanted. The song appears at 6:33 of the episode, as Spongebob feeds a horde of Anchovies.

However, the YTMND that really kick-started the fad was Gman's having a wonderful time by ixian, released on December 24, 2005 (Now with more than 350,000 views). Since then, some of the most popular "Wonderful Time" YTMND's involve G-Man.

Starting in January 2006, "Having a Wonderful Time" YTMNDs were being uploaded nearly everyday until mid 2007, when it started dying down. "Wonderful Time" YTMNDs are still being produced to this day.

Eventually, the craze moved to Youtube, where the first video to directly reference "Having a Wonderful Time" was Naruto's having a wonderful time. Unfortunately, many of the videos had their audio removed by WMG. Nevertheless, these videos are not nearly as popular as their YTMND counterparts.
