The origin was found as a emoticon on several forums on the internet. It's a Scout's HWM model from a a game called Team Fortress 2 by Valve Software and it was created in a developer's tool called Source SDK. The image was mostly used in game forums. When ever a user wanted Half-Life 2: Episode 3 to be released, they just simply wrote "I wish I had HL 2EP3!!!". Later on it was used as: I wish I had money to buy Portal 2, I wish I had a Bill's hat or I wish I had Windows insted of a Mac!. This picture was mainly succesfull on the internet, because of the creepy look and the very deadly like color of the Scout's face.The image was later on turned into a stick figure picture.
