"Manflesh" was a line from the 2002 film, Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. It caught on quickly, appearing the Urban Dictionary, as well as being a term for the penis. In the film, Orcs were know for savagery, causing extreme pain, burning towns, etc, as well as feasting on manflesh. Saruman used manflesh as a motivator for these orcs to battle at Helm's Deep.
Origin.
The line was said in two scenes, first in Fellowship of the Ring, and the second in The Two Towers.
The first line is as follows:
Saruman: To orcs: Tonight, you will feast on manflesh!
Orcs all shout in approval.
The second, more popular line, goes as such:
Orc: What is it, what do you smell?
Lurtz: Manflesh!
Spread.
The meme has been spread vastly. For example, if a peer is complaining about a smell or odor, the conversation may go as follows:
Person 1: Ugh, what is that smell?!
Person 2: Manflesh.
Lulz follows.
Situation two: a child asks for dinner.
Child: What's for dinner, mommy!
Mother: MAN-FLESH.
(Child cries.)
