On the last lap of the 2013 Whelen Modified UNOH Battle at the Beach, a Whelen Modified tour exhibition race at the Daytona Short Track, race leader Mike Stefanik was spun out after contact with 2nd place Steve Park and 3rd place Eric Goodale. Park went on to win the race. He was interviewed by Ray Dunlap of SPEED channel.
Dunlap: Stefanik has just jumped out of his #22 [Car], and Mike, 2 nights in a row that the guy leading at the white flag doesn't get the win; Steve Park says that he got hit from behind, and pushed him in to you, and said it was just another one of those racing deals.
Stefanik: Yeah Right. I don't want to say anything because I… I'm just gonna say the wrong thing. I am mad fricken pissed. This is bullsh*t.
Dunlap: Well, Mike Stefanik certainly, uh, very upset, the last lap, second time in 2 nights, where the guy who lead at the white flag did not get the checkered.
