Explanation
Ochomoto is a japanese submeme which comes directly from Hissu Amoto(Airmoto, The Cult).
Ochomoto features scary sequesls, involving gore, panic, horror and various earrape – all their characters are airmoto characters(Hisamoto, Machami, Ishikawa, Rie, Egghead) with their eyes and mouth multiplied by two and turned in 90 degrees. An example would be sm666, from Nico Nico Douga.
Some are featured in MADs, and some are mere shock videos containing the basic appeal of Ochomoto, SGI characters and the melody. Those videos usually outcome in insanity.
Ochomoto is based on this manga.
Every video in it's series has a background music, which contains creepy and slow music that evolves into an instrumental soundtrack.
A search in Nico Nico Douga for the ochomoto tag(オチョ本) leads to a numerous results of ochomoto videos, together with this video:

The Movie
The director of the movie, from the information given, was Lucio Fulci – an Italian director of horror movies who is known for his extremely levels of gore. The item in Amazon was the 25th anniversary remake of Zombi 2, which was released in 2005/05/13 as an edited out movie, to remove extremely violent and scorned parts which had a dangerously large amount of gore.
The Zombi 2 movie was scorned by the British Palirament as a horribly shameful horror movie, due it's uncensored gore scenes – which feature a zombie fighting with a live shark, and an eye of a live person gagged out on a wook shard by a zombie.
The original uncensored movie was released in 1979, as an unofficial sequel to the first Zombi movie, which is more commonly known as "Dawn of the Dead" in the "Living Dead" series that still continiues today.
The series still had many unrelated remakes and sequels, that all have the same cliche of an infection.
Another zombie movie of the series will be released in 2011.
MADs and Ochomoto
The Zombi 2 theme, is popular in almost all ochomoto videos, and is a base in most of Ochomoto's otoMADs. Almost every Ochomoto video starts with the opening, which features slow and creepy music.
Out of the 102 MAD videos on Nico Nico Douga – almost all of them contain this theme. This theme is the one that gave life to the Ochomoto. The exact year and date of when the Japanese user took this melody is unknown, but due the movie being released in 1979 it is questioned.
Even though, in the Nico Nico Douga video, the picture of the 25th anniversary is seen – a clue that may prove that it was used only after 2005, but due MADs and otoMADs being made in the 80's, it may had been used in an earlier time. The comic that based Ocho is still unrevealed but it looks like it was drawn before 2005.
Like with other cases, Japanese memes in some cases have origins in other countries – like in Mayim Mayim(Israel).
