Pink Dog Telegram GIFs, also known as Lovehound, Love Hound, BadBadDog or Lovely Boy, refers to a series of GIFs of a pink anthropomorphic dog with a heart-shaped nose, that were made into popular Telegram stickers. The character is called Lovehound; he is often pictured doing provocative, lewd gestures. The animations went viral on Twitter / X in late 2024, similar to when the Telegram Duck GIFs went viral in early 2024, starting with the Smoking Duck GIF.

Origin

On January 31st, 2021, the download link for a sticker pack called "Lovely Boy" with the ID "BadBadDog" was added to the Internet Archive.^[1] By February 2021, a new Internet Archive^[2] download showed that the sticker pack had been renamed "Lovehound." The same download link for the Lovehoud sticker pack is accessible on Telegram^[3] as of December 2024.

The sticker was first posted in the Telegram^[4] channel Telegram Stickers | Стикеры on January 31st, 2021 (shown below).

The creator of the Lovehound sticker pack is currently unknown.

Usage of the Lovehound sticker pack notably spread outside of Telegram in December 2024, following a tweet shared by X^[5] user @remyfart142 on December 14th, showing Lovehound making an ahegao face gaining over 7,600 likes in 13 days.

On December 25th, X^[6] user @concerninggggg tweeted a GIF of Lovehound lying on his belly, kicking his legs, seductively waving at the viewer and kissing in their direction, amassing over 26,000 likes in two days (shown below).

On December 26th, 2024, X^[7] user @FoxesHypnotic quote tweeted the abovementioned post, writing, "Furries the moment you turn 18," amassing over 30,000 likes in a day (shown below).

Posts with new Lovehound GIFs emerged in the following days, like one tweet posted by X^[8] user @kzzrttt on December 26th, showing Lovehound becoming visibly aroused in bed, receiving over 9,100 likes in a day.
