Buck Angel (Jake Miller) is a trans man (assigned female at birth but whose gender identity is that of a man) who works at adult film entertainment industry.
Online History
He began producing adult films under his own company Buck Angel Entertainment in 2005. His popularity continued to spread and the joke of Google searching "buck angel naked", "buck naked angel" became a shock image bait-and-switch troll tactic.
Personal Life
Angel was born in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles, California on June 5, 1972, assigned female gender, and named Susan Butch. He began to identify himself as a tomboy in his teenage. Then, his family forced him into therapy and they even considered him putting in a mental institution. Before sex change, he works as a female model and prostitute in his 20s. But he was dealing with depression as well as addiction to drug and alcohol. After suicide attempt via drug overdose, Buck decided that he would go sex transformation. His new life began. He believes that there is no transman yet in the porn industry. He tried to work in porn but no one wanted to work with him so he began filming of his own, after that, disgust and hate from across the world was received from the audience. He continued filming until he gained fans and educate the world about being sexually confident.
In 2007, he received the AVN Award as Transsexual Performer of the Year. He now works as an advocate, educator, lecturer, and writer. Angel served on the Board of Directors of the Woodhull Freedom Foundation from 2010 to 2016; the foundation works to affirm sexual freedom as a fundamental human right through advocacy and education.
