This meme started on a thread on December 17, 2009 on /b/ "Random". It showed a picture of Skwisgar from the television show airing on Adult Swim, "Metalocalypse". It said, "skwisgar skwigelf taller than a tree". Other posts of the other members of the band, "Dethklok", were posted with similar text, bringing the lulz. This included:
A picture of Toki, saying "toki wartooth not a bumblebee".
A picture of Murderface, saying "muderface murderface murderface murderface".
A picture of Pickles, saying "pickles the drummer doodley doodley ding dong doodely".
A picture of Nathan Explosion, saying "NATHAN EXPLOSION".
Many other variations of these pictures were posted, along with other texts and funny stuff that brought the lulz, making it an instant meme.
