Following Mojam, a three and a half day event of game development for charity, Mojang raised more than $500,000 to be donated to Child's Play, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, the American Red Cross and Charity: Water. To celebrate this fundraising feat, Minecraft's creator Notch shaved.
