Author edentel Joined: Sun Feb 01, 2015 AC1750 wireless VLAN support gone? I was just working on my new AC1750 trying to setup a guest wireless VLAN through my switch to my router. I had every configured and things were not working right. After some testing it appeared the AC1750 was not properly tagging the VLAN packets. i popped in here to see if anyone else was having issues and saw there was new firmware. The firmware made a note of fixing a VLAN bug so I promptly loaded it up. As soon as it rebocted I logged in and found that the VLAN support had completely changed. The ability to tag the various SSIDs with a VLAN was gone. I checked the product page and all mention of the capability was gone there as well. Had this feature been permanently stripped out? Sadly I bought two of these for the sole reason that they supported VLANs. Luckily one isn't even out of the box yet. That feature was removed until issues with it are resolved. It will be implemented again on an updated firmware once there is a fix. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
