Like seriously if one dumb meme reference is enough to make you say shit like "NINTENDO FIRE YOUR LOCALIZATION TEAM BECAUSE I SAY SO!" or "I'M NEVER BUYING ANYTHING FROM NINTENDO AGAIN!" then I feel you've got some messed up priorities.

No seriously comments like that make me cringe more than the doge reference itself. Like the doge reference I can go "okay well that meme's a bit outdated, but whatever probably just one guy on the team having some fun, it's not like this ruins the whole game." Saying shit like people deserve to be fired over this single line or that you'll never buy a Nintendo game again makes you just sound REALLY fucking entitled or some kind of weird elitist.

I should note this isn't the first time a meme joke appeared in a Zelda game. Hyrule Warriors actually made a reference to "Xbox 360 Kid" of all things.
