Bo Burnham's "Welcome To The Internet" is a song from Bo Burnham's 2021 Netflix special Inside about the things you can do online and how the internet has changed over time, humorously spotlighting numerous negative parts of online discourse. Since its release, the video of Burnham's performance has been used as a redraw meme and inspired fan covers and parodies. The catchphrase, Welcome to the Internet has previously gone viral online as a genuine, but mostly mocking, greeting to internet users who aren't aware of how online discourse works.

On June 4th, 2021, the music video for "Welcome to the Internet" was posted to YouTube[1] by boburnham, where it received over 88 million views in over a year (shown below). In the video, Burnham sings the song while playing piano in a blue-lit room with sunglasses on.

On July 13th, 2021, Natsuo posted a parody video to YouTube[2] of the song which changes the song's subject to be about anime. The video (shown below, left) received over 1.4 million views in over a year. On July 23rd, YouTuber[3] Schaffrillas Productions posted a parody video of the song about Super Smash Bros. (shown below, right) garnering over 334,000 views in over a year.



On the same day, YouTuber[4] Caleb Hyles posted a parody cover to YouTube using Alastor from Hazbin Hotel. The video (shown below) received over 4.9 million views in over a year.



On August 2nd, 2022, YouTuber[5] savannahXYZ posted a parody video of the song to YouTube which attempts to recreate the original music video. The video (shown below) received over 296,000 views in over one month.



On October 5th, YouTuber[6] Man On The Internet posted a cover of the song over artwork redrawing the video, garnering over 40,000 views in a day (shown below).
