Well look guys I get that you want ppl to be aware of the horrible situation that arose but the mods' point about "importing drama" is totally valid. That's a site for analysing narrative device at the end of the day. Fandom civil wars can be briefly mentioned but it surely is TVT's duty to remain impartial in situations like this? (Idk I'm not a user there) Like there are places where they talk generally about drama that happened in the Harry Potter fandom back in the day but they never took a side on it or went into massive detail. It's not what the purpose of the site is.

It's not like discussion is banned of it here, and besides, everyone in and many outside of the fandom already know about this event.

You guys are suffering from the persecution bias a bit here by suggesting those mods are out to get you or control you in some way, just saying. I don't want to be mean or deny you the right to say what you feel, I just want you to think about it a bit. Do you feel that spreading this kind of drama on a site for chronicling narrative device is really necessary?

I was the one who added the Zamii controversy to the “Why Fandom Can’t Have Nice Things” section of SU’s “Trivia” page. About a day or two ago I went and checked if anyone had cleaned the entry up, and noticed that the section where I mentioned how the people who bullied Zamii were “self proclaimed social justice warriors”, “social justice warriors” had been changed to “skeleton warriors” and my linking to “Political Correctness Gone Mad” was removed.

I changed it back to how it was before and as of right now it’s still as is, but this banning seen above and the strange edit is making me wonder if any of the people who bullied Zamii are perhaps a TV Tropes mod.
