Her growth rates are decent, her starting stats are normal for a level 10 unit, and she has a great ability. I dunno where you'd hear such things.
Her personality/behavior are more likely controversial. But hey, she's the best cook! It's not all blood, tears, and murder.

That's what I don't get. Personality wise, she seems like a fun character. Quirky characters are my jam.
