Walking around campus, went to check the fish tanks (I'm not a fishiculturist or whatever they're called), and noticed this guy standing immobile. I thought it was a prop, and not a very realistic one but whatever, fish don't have good eyes I think. Being a research facility and all, I decided to check on it for science and ask the pros what purpose it served.

When I was one crane-style eye-pulling away from the thing it just flew in slow motion a few feet from me, and returned to its stuffed bird pose, as if business as usual. I really don't like the idea that I could be wearing an eyepatch or two if I managed to touch it as intended.

It still hangs around and lets you approach as close as one foot, chill as fuck.
