They should make a whole documentary on the Blu-ray about all of Zootopia's past incarnations that didn't make it to the screen. The noisy recent subbed really fascinating-- a bleak noir film set in a rotting dystopia. I think they made the right call going with a buddy cop film, but the noir film looked and sounded really cool.

Ditto here. All the stuff left on the cutting room floor sounds like it could fuel a few different movies on its own.
