Both of being aware fans want him to voice the character and no to do it if asked He added, "I don't know what you're talking about." Then he asked his colleagues on stage what I was talking about, referring to Detective Pikachu and Pokemon. Confused he asked, "What the fck is Pokemon?" The audience and myself then laughed like crazy.

Hey this doesn’t mean it’s dead. It’s voice acting, a VA can have no idea about the universe and still do a good job voice acting. I mean when DeVito was doing Hercules do you think he had a comprehensive knowledge of both Greek Mythology and Musicals?

Did Disney have comprehensive knowledge of Greek Mythology? That movie didn't even have one kid getting pushed off a cliff for believing in Heracles.
