NathanEH-6 hours ago FIXED HEADLINE Mighty No. 9's Fifth Release Date Finally Announced, Two Years of Delays Not Enough For Simultaneous Launch With Portable Versions Seriously, let's clarify something. Mighty No. 9 will have been "complete" for over a year before it launched. "Complete" being the word Inafune used to describe Mighty No. 9 when he was hastily defending the launch of his second nostalgia-grubbing Kickstarter before his first one had even shipped. I've met Inafune. I've shaken his hand and I have his autograph. His work on this planet has influenced me more than anyone else on Earth. I donated $80 to Mighty No. 9, I've had access to the game for two years now. I've prayed that it would shape up visually, mechanically, and in every other regard you could name. With that said, a word of advice to anyone looking at the game: Don't. Bother. Alright, so that was two words. And for those unaware, the original plan, back in 2013, was to release the Vita and 3DS editions after the console versions, and two years of delays still wasn't enough to get them ready for a simultaneous launch. Come to think of it, we haven't seen any proof that these two versions even exist. Please correct me if I'm wrong on that, I'd hate to think that Inafune took the money and ran. I don't know where you're from where a game being delayed twice is normal or even acceptable. Do you honestly think this is normal?
For a 2d platformer?
With literal millions of dollars to back it up?
With most of the money not being put into the game itself but other shit no one cares about?
With there being not one, but two different kickstarters?
With ALL releases being pushed back?
Twice?
And no, just because something is equally as bad doesn't mean that both are okay or acceptable.
