_This time, I got thrown a little bit of a curveball. I wasn’t asked to do the usual action scene, or pairing pic, but instead a little something to help a franchise that may have gotten off on the wrong foot. We all saw the crowdfunding campaign behind Mighty Number 9. I think most of us were pretty excited to see Mega Man’s legacy live on. If we couldn’t have the Blue Bomber back, then this was hands down the next best thing._

_Long story short, this pic was intended to send a message. One that says we can’t give up on these crowd funded games so quickly. There are so many titles that just came out or that are currently in the works that fill a videogame niche that the major players simply can’t touch. We do need to keep supporting games like this, to show developers the kinds of things we want them to be working on. God knows I threw my money at Shenmue 3 a few months back (Whoo! Long Live the Dreamcast!). Its stuff like this that keeps us veteran gamers invested. They are made by people who grew up in the medium just like us._

_Simple enough, this pic is about encouragement. Shantae, Yooka and Laylee are all huddling in around Beck. Letting him know that tomorrow is another day and the future is only as bright as you make it. They are looking to Kickstart his mood into something more positive by pointing out the WayForward…_
