Two years have passed since we lost a great artist, Monty Oum, but the loss still feels fresh. I came up with this concept for the first anniversary of Monty's passing but at the time I was focusing on using Photoshop to digitally shade/color images and the file was lost to a computer crash (that entire month was a mess actually). To avoid that this year I broke out my Prismacolors for the first time in close to a decade, and I keep the original just in case the scan file ever disappears on my despite my various precautions.

We miss you Monty, and I truly wish you could see how far your story has come. As per your orders, I will indeed keep moving forward.
