Fun fact: at least at the zoo I go to the peacocks are allowed to walk around outside of their cages and with visitors. I don't know why they allow this but it's kinda cool.

Peacocks arent particularly agressive as long as you do not provoke them on purpose

also they are rather easy to breed, and since they are territorial, they are not likely to run away
