As an autistic individual, fidget spinners make no sense. They're a toy, not a fidget. A fidget is a small item you can run over in an attempt to help concentrate and give your hands something to do, but discreet enough to not disturb others. A fidget spinner is a big blinking neon sign saying that you don;t care about anyone else in the room but yourself and will actively disturb the conversation by waving it around.
