Avengers: Infinity War - Saitama Vs Thanos by Drawslave

The problem with trying to look at any match up with Saitama with a serious mindset is that he is basically Japanese Pop-Eye the Sailor Man, an entity that operates on pure Fletcher Cartoon levels of rule of funny. So of course the Infinity Gauntlet would have no effect, why? Because it would be an absolute laugh riot.

In fact, what would really be funny is seeing Thanos trying to disintegrate Saitama only for the Gauntlet itself to just spontaneously disintegrate, exactly like that one disintegration gun bit in that old Duck Dodgers cartoon. Rule of funny overrides all common sense, realism and logic.

The only way Thanos could win is if you strip Saitama of all the rule of funny he's built around…..which would be a really depressing thing to do. Like removing the funny bone out of Bugs Bunny rendering him just some regular rabbit. It would literally be killing the (good) clown.

I bet Thanos hates good clowns, despises them for trying to spread happiness and joy to kids the world over. Probably use the Infinity Gauntlet to turn all clowns into the Joker….or Sweettooth…..or into those Killer Klowns from Outer Space….because Thanos hates seeing other people be happy.

Thanos is omnipotent with the Gauntlet, but the point of Saitama is that he could beat anyone with ease.
