Most Cal Arts graduates will say there is no Cal Arts Style, but everyone who didn't go there f they have wider wider -can spot it I'm making a direct apology to all you Cal Arts students. I have used the term "The Cal Arts Style" to point to many familiar modern drawing and animation cliches in order to contrast them against more universal animation drawing principles, and I can understand why students might think I am directly blaming them or attacking them which I am absolutely not! back then "calarts style" meant disney style and he was dragging the designs in the Iron Giant and the Incredibles despite him hiring the same guy to work in Ren & Stimpy but I don't doubt this is where that term comes from since apparently he p----- off a large portion of animation community with that post ............Once again it's all John K's fault
