"Apex predators from darkest reaches of The Dreamtime, the skinwalkers are some of the realm’s most dangerous creatures. Intelligent, cunning and with access to shapeshifting magic, these monsters spend their time spreading misery wherever they can.

Normally, a skinwalker is incapable of entering the mortal realm on its own. In rare cases one may pass through a temporary rift but most arrive by attaching themselves to dreaming mortals, pulled into Midgard when they inevitably wake. Usually, this unfortunate dreamer is the skinwalker’s first victim.

As a creature of The Dreamtime, the skinwalker draws power from emotions and ideas. In particular, they draw upon horror, fear and mortal terror. They connect to The Nightmare through their lairs to continue feeding upon a steady trickle of these emotions but need to return at least one a week to their home to fully feed.
