Inside Gaming 4 mins Hi friends You may have noticed that we are no longer Machinima. Don't shed a tear for us, we couldn't be more excited. You're seeing this page now because you liked the Machinima page. To be clear, we are still that same page, but we are no longer Machinima. We're still Zach, Conor, and Patrick but we've joined forces with some old faces we think you guys will love to make the page you're seeing noW. Here's the real scoop: Since 2015, our team played clean-up crew to fallout from the Inside Gaming guys leaving to start Funhaus, and desperately tried to fill the massive shoes they left behind. Eventually, we realized that we could never be successful until we did our own thing. So we, as a scrappy little social team, set off to make the content that you have all been seeing here for the last few years. We found our voice making the Explainer videos, and had a blast Slacking each other ideas for our shitpost memes. What's crazy is we were successful. The Machinima social media pages started pulling in real numbers for the first time ever. The right eyebrows raised and we got to add a few more members to our team We overcame so many obstacles together, but there was one we never had any hope of evading... Our name. The Machinima name is/was a hurricane. It was bad news for anyone left in its wake. It swallowed up insanely talented people and spit them out miles from where they called home In its final few years, Machinima really tried to turn it around. And we will forever appreciate that. They brought on a new CEO that was a glowing, positive force for change. They recruited people to work on the corporate side that were genuinely passionate about gaming and loved what they did. They hired some of the most talented people in the industry to run their studio productions. It was just too late; the Machinima name was too far gone. But here's where we get to the fun part. In an ironic twist of corporate restructuring, this part of the Machinima brand ended up in the hands of some of the people most responsible for its early success, the original Inside Gaming guys And that brings us to today Together, with the super talented folks from Funhaus and The Know we're excited to bring you INSIDE GAMING. Back in the hands of the ones that made it good in the first place We're going to be bringing you daily news, reviews, and features, all hosted by familiar faces like Adam, Bruce, Lawrence, and Alanah to name just a few If you liked the content you previously saw from us, be it from just last month or from the glory days of Inside Gaming way back when, we think you'll really like what we've got for you here.
