Green New Deal - drinking bottle water is too much for me honestly

I know this is supposed to be a straw man but it's scary how accurately this sums up our problem with combating the ongoing ecological nightmare that is climate change.

The argument isn't wrong but it's taking the whataboutism aspect too far. There's only so much a single person can do, with some things being completely unavoidable and to berate them for that, solves nothing.

But there are some easy things to do, such as cutting out bottled water and if you're not even doing that while wanting to protect the environment then you're not exactly helping.
