Traps are male sexed characters who look like and usually dress like girls, but still identify as guys. They can be gay, but they don't have to be and can still like girls. Reverse-traps are the same just in reverse "Girl dressed/disguised as a guys, but personally identify as a girl, can be gay, but doesn't have to be."

From what I understand Trans is either sex identifying as the gender opposite of their sex and this is fine, they can dress up as the other gender, but they don't have to, while still identify as the opposite gender.
