Fire Emblem has actually more clones and semi-clones than any other franchise, so that argument would that argument on the third panel would end up saying that FE is underrepresented instead. The assist trophy argument is actually just wrong: characters are considered for being fighters or not FIRST, and considered for assist trophies later. All secondary elements of the game are considered after main elements like playable characters.

When one thinks about it, FE is underrepresented in a way. Of all the characters, Robin is the only non-Lord unit, and both he and Corrin are the only ones to use other weapon types. This still leaves axes, lances, bows, throwing weapons, and staves without any representation. A similar argument could be made for Pokemon with various types like Bug, Ghost, Rock, etc not having a fighter.
