hell, Fullmetal Alchemist is in the "best of all time" conversation and it was made by a woman. Ranma 1/2, Magi, Black Butler, Gangsta, Blue Exorcist, Inuyasha, Beastars, Sailor Moon. A lot of variety and talent there. More than in most entertainment industries IMO.

For context, those two have confirmed they are father and daughter (Baki and Beastars author).
