The Trolley Problem - The Boomer Trolley problem

At the risk of getting slightly too political, this is unfortunately how a lot of people think they can solve social issues today. "Your ancestors used, oppressed and/or killed mine, so now you get to pay for their actions, even if you yourself didn't participate and you actually don't condone their actions". And, like… this does not work, man. Social issues cannot be put on a metaphorical balance where one group's suffering will make the other "opposing" group live better. It is only an attempt of repeating that history with the roles reversed instead.

All we can do is learn from humanity's mistakes and move forward. The past is the past and cannot be helped, but we can still shape the present and future.

I wish boomer went back to a term relating to lawn mowing classic shooter playing monster sipping 30 year olds and not whoever these political facebook dwelling idiots are.
