And they really meant it, they'd look at foxhole radios (a radio you can build out of a piece of wire, disposable razor and a pencil) the way you looked at the first piece of porn you ever saw, and theorizing a few doomsday scenarios and what kind of infrastructure they would try to build and run in apocalyptic ruins.
