again, it was because LEGO pitched CN Chima, and CN pulled thundercats 2011's renewal for season 2

Dude, i remember reading about what the creators of the 2011 reboot had planned for the story and it just broke my heart. (it's in an interview somewhere, i tried looking but found nothing, if anyone could post the link, that'd be cool)
It had crazy shit like a seven year timeskip, Tygra becoming king of the Thundercats and waging war with Mumm-Ra, Lion-O going on exile and coming back as his older, ultra-badass self to save the kingdom, Tygra fucking dying and with his last breath recognizing Lion-O as his brother and true king of the Thundercats, shit was legit epic
Also, they were patrician enough to have Lion-O end up with Wily Kit and making her his queen (just to be clear, because of the before mentioned timeskip, she was no longer a child)
