The Americans lost the Vietnam war to farmers LOL. Champ, that's a gross mischaracterization of the Viet Cong. They were a full fle army with fairly advanced weaponry and brilliant tacticians. While it's true that some of the members of the Viet Cong were formerly farmers they were supplemented with trained soldiers. The same could be said for most guerrilla groups of the day.
