Something I never understood is how the fuck do you make so much money but clearly have such a shit budget? Is it one of those it just works things?

I think it comes down to the help they had from Iwata with gen 2, and gen 8 being made completely in house and rushed all to hell. Not to disparage the largest media franchise known to man, but Game Freak has always kind of sucked at programming and such, they should really outsource more
