This meme is a reference to a senior citizen named Jorge Adolfo Ríos who killed the thief who was robbing his home after this thief beated him against the floor.

Four days later in Quilmes (the same city where Ríos lived) one thief broke into the house of a mother to rob and r---- her in front of her five-year-old son.

These two incidents provoked a debate regarding citizens taking the law into their own hands (justicia por mano propia). Three days after the original incident, another senior citizen from Mar Del Plata named Néstor Génova did the same.

Last Sunday, a group of residents of La Matanza lynched and impaled a criminal (NSFW).
