On a fundamental level, how many of the cops that are "participating in the system" are in a position to do anything about the bad eggs? Isn't this more or less like a Karen complaining about prices to the cashier?

I bring this up because it is a universal truth, one common not just in the police but in a billion failed progressive projects:

Any organization with no active end goal whose members place value on its existence will be run by the dumbest, least stable, and overall WORST members of said organization.

An archetypal cop has two goals on the average day: 1. Do nothing, 2. Support other cops. The first time a racist idiot does something evil, even the best cop has received at least some training that their duty is still to support that other cop.

Now, what I just said seems like it supports the position that All Cops are Bastards; the PROBLEM is that saying 'All Cops are Bastards' LITERALLY INTENSIFIES THE ACTUAL PROBLEM. By stereotyping and lumping cops together under a single umbrella, you actively support the source of your own grievance.

You validate the notion that a cop's first priority is to defend other cops.

Instead of unraveling the poisonous notion that to attack one cop is to attack all cops, you just… attack all cops.

"All cops" aren't anything. To fix this we need to get rid of "all cops" as a concept.

But it's not like this is the first time the left has done this.

Because that's another concept people seem to not understand.

If you persistently tell somebody that they are your enemy, you will be right.

And that's NOT a good thing.
