The suns writers apparently have the reading comprehension of a 4th grader

Seen it a few times, but I think of it as an oldie but a goodie.

It is ironic though, how things have become.

Book-
Frankenstein: (Is clearly evil and insane)
Monster: "I didn't ask for any of this. I just want someone to appreciate me. Will I ever find happiness?"

Public perception: "Alas, poor doctor, fallen to his hubris. He couldn't beat death in the end. … AAA! SCARY CORPSE-MONSTER! KILL IT, KILL IT!"

The test screenings for I Am Legend made me 100% sure that most people can't discern between good and bland writing.
