File: 1359092142984.jpg (570 KB, 1683x2419) O Anonymous 03/03/16(Thu)12:29.52 No. 29137503 >29137525 >29137528 >>29145809 s29146945 >>29148970 hi /k/, i usually hang out in /mu/ my father recently passed away and left me his house and it's contents, my mother lives in a different part of the state and while they were divorced well after i got into college, it was completely amicable and she encouraged me to keep dad's stuff in the family. going through his stuff was pretty emotional, but in a good way - lots of good memories. i'm missing the keys to a couple chests in the attic which are in a bank deposit box in the city (he lived on a rural farm after he retired). i found a handgun in his night stand drawer when looking around for the keys. it looks pretty old and worn though and says "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on it. I haven't touched it at all since i'm not really familiar with any guns besides a revolver i was handed when i went to college "in case someone breaks in". my camera battery is charging right now, so i'll take some pics, but i was hoping for any advice on it or what to do with it and how to unload and safety it it has the hammer cocked, and i think the safety is on, but i'm not touching it without some more confidence about it. pic unrelated, i just like persona 3 a lot. posted it in a thread i was reading hoping to help figure out some of his guns.
