/tv/ - Superman and Zod basically did 9/11

They do faaar more than 9/11. Even give Superman a statue when the dust settles.

Terrorists wish they could accomplish so much.

I always annoying me when people keep ignore the context of the movie and just pretend that Superman didn't care of the people around him.

1) Superman was never be a fight before, he isn't an combat expert with dozens of years of experience, he may had more experience in using his powers compare to Zod, but that doesn't mean that he know how to use them in a fight, so is not like he could have just quickly disable Zod with a karate chop.

2) I feel like people always forget that Superman was fighting Zod, this isn't just a normal criminal or just a random supervillain, this is a Kryptonian with the same abilities who was just as strong and as fast as Superman, there is no way that Superman would have be capable to prevent the destruction in the middle of the fight.

3) Zod wanted to kill as many people as possible as revenge, he wasn't going to stop at that point in the movie, not when everything he had fight for has be destroyed.
