Some people fade into internet history like a forgotten meme template. Others, like Danielle Bregoli, also known as Bhad Bhabie, cling to relevance like fake Gucci belts holding up saggy pants at a SoundCloud rap concert.

You probably first heard of Ms. Bregoli in 2016 when she asked Dr. Phil's studio audience to "Cash Me Ousside, How Bow Dah?" and single-handedly kicked off the biggest meme of 2016.

Since then, Bhad Bhabhie has mapped out a game plan that every viral internet jokester hopes to emulate: turning a moment of internet infamy into a legitimate music career.

Despite falling in and out of relevance over the past decade, in true Bhad Bhabie fashion, Bregoli is back in the headlines again, this time warring against her Wario, Alabama Barker, Travis Barker’s teenage daughter.

But before we break down this new drama, let’s revisit how we got here in the first place. Here's a look at how Danielle Bregoli, or Bhad Bhabie, rose to internet fame.

Who Is Danielle Bregoli, and How Did She First Go Viral?

Back in 2016, 13-year-old Danielle Bregoli strutted onto the Dr. Phil stage like she was headlining Coachella for Problematic Teens.

Her mother had dragged her there for a segment titled, "I Want to Give Up My Car-Stealing, Knife-Wielding, Twerking 13-Year-Old Daughter Who Tried to Frame Me for a Crime," a title that reality TV has arguably been unable to top since.

The episode itself was a standard intervention-style sit-down, but Bregoli's arrogant attitude and thick Florida accent transformed an offhand threat into internet history: "Cash me ousside, how bow dah?"

The clip exploded on the internet shortly after, with Bregoli’s phrase getting remixed, tattooed and slapped on everything from T-shirts to Twitter bios. She became a walking Vine-era legend: defiant, unintentionally hilarious and completely unfazed by adult authority.

But instead of letting her 15 minutes vanish into the ether, Bregoli did something shocking and managed to turn her memedom into money.

How Did Bhad Bhabie Capitalize on Her Fame?

Most viral stars get a SugarBearHair sponsorship and fade into irrelevance. Bhad Bhabie? She climbed the Billboard Hot 100 charts instead.

In 2017, she signed a record deal and dropped "These Heaux," which, against all logic, garnered 94 million views in seven years and charted on the Billboard Hot 100, making her the youngest female rapper ever to do so.

Before anyone could blink, she followed the track up with "Hi Bich," another banger that racked up 232 million on YouTube and solidified her as more than just a Dr. Phil footnote.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper internet come-up without some manufactured beef, so enter Woah Vicky, another social media star known for … well, also being viral and vaguely problematic.

Their on-again, off-again feud included everything from Instagram threats to an actual physical altercation in a recording studio because, apparently, the early 2010s YouTube boxing craze never really died. Both creators have since admitted that the feud was a mutually beneficial ruse meant to boost their fame.

Beyond music, Bhad Bhabie also proved to be a financial mastermind. She cashed in on brand deals, reportedly made nearly $1 million in six hours on OF and even dropped a makeup line that also sold out.

In November 2024, Bhad Bhabie revealed she was battling blood cancer, addressing concerns about her recent weight loss. Despite her diagnosis, she continued her career, even undergoing a nose job in January 2025 with medical clearance.

Many internet users regarded Bregoli's cancer revelation with skepticism, but Bhad Bhabie has remained steadfast about her health issues.

What Are Some More Viral Memes Inspired By Bhad Bhabhie?

Bhad Bhabie remained a controversial figure after her initial rise to fame. In November 2018, at age 15, she threw a drink at rapper Iggy Azalea during Cardi B's Fashion Nova launch party in Los Angeles, escalating their ongoing feud.

Azalea later dismissed the incident, stating she wouldn't engage in a public altercation with a teenager, but the clash nevertheless made waves in numerous tabloids.

In 2019, Bhad Bhabie faced accusations of cultural appropriation and blackfishing due to her hairstyles and appearance, which some perceived as an attempt to emulate Black features. Critics argued she was altering her look to gain credibility in hip-hop culture.

As the controversy spread online, she then addressed these accusations on social media, denying any intent to appropriate or deceive.

Additionally, a phrase she used in a YouTube video reacting to and "dissing" other musical artists became a viral TikTok soundbite. When talking about YouTuber Erika Costell, Bregoli said, She looks like every other b----!

What’s Bhad Bhabie Up to Today?

Fast forward to 2025, and Bhad Bhabie is still out here securing the bag, primarily by beefing with other celebs. This time, her target is Alabama Barker, the teenage daughter of Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian’s youngest stepchild.

Why? Allegedly, Alabama got too cozy with Bhad Bhabie's boyfriend, Le Vaughn, while Bregoli was undergoing cancer treatment.

Naturally, this drama escalated in the most 2025 way possible: through diss tracks.

Bhad Bhabie fired first with "Ms. Whitman,” a scathing track that not only called out Alabama but also took shots at Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian. The music video even featured a Travis Barker lookalike, because subtlety is not typically part of the Bhad Bhabie brand.

Alabama clapped back with "Cry Bhabie," a diss track of her own, denying all accusations and attempting to one-up Bregoli in the rap beef department.

But whether this feud will actually escalate to a boxing match or just a few more rounds of lyrical sparring remains to be seen.

Where Can You Find Bhad Bhabie Online Today?

Bhad Bhabie is chronically online as ever, with over 7 million subscribers on YouTube, 16.2 million subscribers on Instagram and 800,000 followers on Twitter / X.

From viral meme to platinum-selling artist to full-time internet disruptor, Bhad Bhabie has refused to fade into irrelevance in almost a decade since her initial rise.

Whether she’s dropping music, launching million-dollar OF accounts or reigniting rap feuds, she somehow remains a staple of internet culture to this day — whether you love or hate her.
