Notes:

Alatreon, an elder dragon released for MHW Iceborne in July 2020 for free, caused some controversy among fans. This is due to a special attack used by the Alatreon every 6 minutes or so, named "Escaton Judgement". If the hunters do not deal enough elemental damage to the "blazing black dragon", the entire party will be wiped out by an elemental blast (though Team Darkside managed to survive it at full power). If they manage to deal enough elemental damage, the blast will be weakened, allowing hunters to survive it by healing themselves during the blast.

Loved and praised by speedrunners for its large amount of moves and accurate hitboxes and for how it forces players to play aggressively, Alatreon frustrated more than one player on Reddit, spawning some memes in the process.
