Steven Universe - Alternate ending

I was actually expecting this to be the plot of SUF; I mean, Pink has over and over showed to really get into a new thing, and then getting bored and leaving it for something else: Leaving Spinel to run her own colony, leaving her colony to become Rose Quartz, leaving the Crystal Gems to be with Greg, leaving Greg to become Steven…

…so, I assumed the main plot point of SUF would be about Pink getting bored of "being" Steven, trying to return to her own self, which was the reason for Steven outbursts and sudden changes. Would have been an interesting idea to see IMO.

I was kind of hoping for a Total Recall twist myself.

Steven stops the Diamonds then a TV screen pops up and it's Pink congratulating him on stopping every threat to her takeover. Then she tries to "kill" Steven so she can take over his gem again.
