Five Nights at Freddy's - ok guys hear me out

Easy. It pretty much went through 2 different artistic filters.
The original is a creepy animatronic.
Big part of the creepy factor was filter out when doing the minecraft version. Then you have artists doing fan art of the minecraft model. Which pretty much makes it go through yet another filter.
