Yeah it is. It used left-wing aesthetics but it also persues a lot of policies and promotes cultural norms very much associated with right-wing beliefs (promoting very traditional masculinity in boys, traditional gender roles, strongly nationalistic and ethno-centric, etc.). Even economically, these days it's probably closer to the likes of Nazi Germany's than the Soviet Union's (or even Mao-era China), with a sort-of capitalism in place that's just heavily controlled by the state.
