The car, for many Americans, is in fact an extension of their self and personality. If you've ever been waiting for friends or family in a restaurant parking lot, you'll know that you're not looking for their faces, you're looking for their cars. Additionally, many people heavily customize and personalize their cars and some even own one specific car for a massive portion of their lives.

Furthermore, for some individuals, their car is their home. Whether by circumstance or choice, they use it for shelter and therefore breaking into someone's car is as bad as breaking into their house, not to mention all the important belongings someone might store or accidentally leave in their car.

Although, seeing that this is the one and only Seth Rogen, the great unfunny idiot of Hollywood, this is probably the most intelligent thing he's ever come up with and it's fucking wrong.
