: Anonymous Why are people so heartless? 67 KB JPG 07/02/22(Sat) 23:01:26 No.69268333 >be me >go to T-Mobile store to buy a new phone >start walking around the shop looking at all the new iphones and androids and s--- to decide which one i want to buy >old lady with gray hair comes in, looks between 50-65 >she talks to the young girl and guy working behind the counter (both seemed 19-20) >asks them about a problem with her phone >the girl employee behind the counter kindly helps her >it was just a basic issue, she had her phone data turned off and the employee fixed it in like 1 minute >old lady proceeds to chat with them for a bit (the store is literally complete empty besides us, not like there were any customers waiting to talk to the employees or anything and after she left the employees just sat their on their phones, so its not like they had anything to do either) >the old lady has the kindest voice and is so nice, talks and asks questions about what gift she could get for her daughter, what young people do these days, how she made a facebook account for the first time, etc etc >after a 10-15 minute chat or so she says "thank you so much, maybe ill come back here next week to catch up on what the young folk are doing, haha" >can literally hear the pain and loneliness in her voice. the problem with her phone was so simple that i even think she made it up on purpose just so she could go to the store and have an excuse to talk to someone >think to myself "what a nice old lady" and what a pleasant conversation that was with the lady and the girl and guy behind the counter, both talking about their life and whatnot >as the lady leaves, right after the door closes both employees burst out laughing at her and start s--- talking her >w-- Literally was so soulcrushing to see, why are normies so f------ cold these days bros? Even online on places like 4chan which used to be comfy, everyone is just trying to make everyone else feel subhuman and like a p------------. It's so disheartening how heartless people are to their fellow man/woman these days.
